Ardent and its partners are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Engineer to join our team. This remote position requires candidates to reside in Puerto Rico.
As a Full Stack Engineer, you will leverage your deep understanding of both frontend and backend technologies and strong problem-solving abilities to build innovative solutions for product and service development. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to solve challenging business problems and contribute to the growth and success of our company.
Responsibilities:
- Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications, including both frontend and backend components.
- Infrastructure as Code: Manage and automate infrastructure using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Build, test, and deploy applications using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
- Cloud Platforms: Leverage cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP to deploy and manage applications.
- Database Design and Management: Design and optimize relational and NoSQL databases.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Security: Implement security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and data protection.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutions and provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making processes.
Requirements:
- Must reside in Puerto Rico.
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in full-stack development.
- Strong proficiency in frontend technologies (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.) and backend technologies (Node.js, Python, Java, etc.).
- Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen willing to undergo the government issued background investigation process.
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience with serverless architectures and cloud-native development.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, infrastructure as code).
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence.
