Grammarly is seeking an AV/IT Engineer to join our Berlin team and ensure seamless IT operations, support events, and manage large meetings. This role is the primary IT point of contact in the Berlin hub, responsible for vendor coordination, asset management, employee onboarding/offboarding, hardware/software support, AV equipment, and event coordination. This is an in-office position, requiring 5 days per week in the Berlin hub. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and a passion for delivering an exceptional user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level IT support, troubleshooting hardware/software, and resolving network issues.
- Manage all events and large meetings, coordinating additional resources.
- Maintain and manage IT assets, including computers, laptops, printers, and AV equipment.
- Provide hardware and software to existing team members and new hires.
- Support ZOOM rooms in person and remotely.
- Assist with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting AV equipment.
- Manage and document AV inventory.
- Support end users with AV technology during meetings and presentations.
- Coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance with vendors.
- Maintain accurate IT and AV support requests, resolutions, and equipment inventory records.
- Stay up-to-date with IT and AV trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in IT support, A/V equipment management, and event coordination.
- Strong knowledge of macOS and Windows operating systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of an international team.
- Detail-oriented and organized with strong documentation skills.
- Vendor management experience.
