Senior System Engineer - Public Cloud Scalability

We are seeking a Senior System Engineer to join our Public Cloud Scalability team, focusing on managing and scaling our Public Cloud infrastructure. This includes Linux systems, networking components, and the virtualization layer. You will design and implement scalable, high-performance cloud infrastructures, influencing peers and stakeholders with effective solutions. Mentoring and challenging team members is also a key responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and monitor our Public Cloud infrastructure.
* Lead the implementation of repetitive and complex tasks for operational efficiency.
* Ensure the availability of all Public Cloud services.
* Participate in regular on-call duty.
* Identify and propose solutions for improvements and structural problems.
* Provide 3rd line incident support.

What we're looking for:
* Experience with Python (or Golang) for automation and testing.
* Knowledge of Linux operating systems (preferably Ubuntu) and Shell/Bash.
* Excellent knowledge of virtualization technologies (KVM, QEMU, and libvirt).
* Experience with configuration management tools and methodologies (Chef, Kubernetes).
* Experience managing MySQL and Galera clusters.
* Switch Management experience (Arista/Juniper).
* Experience with monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Nagios/Icinga.
* A drive to improve quality and prevent incidents.
* Good command of written and spoken English.
