Join Appian's Solutions Consulting team and redefine the role of a trusted advisor in a fast-paced environment. As a Solutions Consultant, you'll craft compelling stories, collaborate with customers, and shape strategies using your technical expertise and business acumen. You will be the driving force behind helping customers understand the business value that Appian’s technology can provide during the sales cycle and beyond.
Responsibilities:
* Respond to functional and technical aspects of RFIs/RFPs.
* Strategically solve problems with creative thinking.
* Communicate customer needs effectively to Product Management.
* Deliver strong verbal and written communication, including presentations and requirements analysis.
Requirements:
* Technical depth to address functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
* Experience with modern programming languages (Java, C#, Python, etc.).
* Experience in enterprise software sales (BPM, Low Code, Application Development Platforms preferred).
* Familiarity with production environments (application servers, web servers, databases).
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
* 8+ years as a Pre-Sales Engineer OR 6+ years in a client-facing Professional Services/Consulting role with sales involvement.
* Willingness to travel 10%.
Nice to have:
* Experience with Business Process Management Platforms, Low Code Platforms, or Application Development Platforms
