Senior Materials Scientist

As a Senior Materials Scientist, you'll be at the forefront of developing groundbreaking materials for our professional 3D printers. Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and development of world-class 3D printing materials, from initial lab exploration to commercialization.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to ensure seamless and reliable material printing.
• Design and perform experiments to drive materials performance improvements.
• Partner with product management and engineering to continuously improve our materials.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in polymer development (resins, coatings, adhesives, elastomers, films, foams, rubbers, composites, thermoplastics, or thermosets).
• Solid understanding of polymer physics and chemistry, with expertise in formulating high-performance materials (acrylate, urethane, epoxy, silicone, rubbers, or plastics).
• Experience in process optimization, research reporting, and commercial support, with a proven track record in commercializing new products.
• Creative and resourceful problem-solver with the ability to balance speed and scientific rigor.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience mentoring junior scientists.
• BS, MS, or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Material Science, or a related field.
