Senior Fullstack Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer to join our New Initiatives team in Stockholm, Sweden. You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining applications across mobile, web, and backend services. Your work will directly impact our mission to make communication smarter and safer for over 450 million monthly active users.

Responsibilities:
* Lead the design and development of scalable mobile, web, and backend solutions.
* Build mobile applications for Android using Kotlin/Java and Flutter.
* Develop backend services using Scala to power key features.
* Implement user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
* Mentor junior developers and enforce best coding practices.
* Deliver high-quality software by writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
* Participate in architectural discussions and design solutions that meet business requirements.

Requirements:
* 5+ years of professional experience as a Fullstack Engineer.
* Strong expertise in Android development using Kotlin/Java and Flutter.
* Proficiency in backend development with Scala.
* Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc.).
* Experience with databases such as Redis, Postgres, and/or Cassandra.
* Familiarity with RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture.
* Solid understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
* Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
* Experience in building side projects or experience with smaller startup teams.

Nice to have:
* Experience with cloud platforms and gRPC.
* Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
