We are seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the people and culture strategy that drives our business forward. As an HRBP at MongoDB, you will partner with business unit leaders and their teams, acting as a coach, trusted advisor, change agent, and consultant on all talent-related matters. You will collaborate with various teams within the People Team, including Employee Experience, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, Engagement & Inclusion, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, and People Analytics. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in both strategic initiatives and day-to-day talent activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with leaders, providing thought leadership on organizational and people strategy.
  • Embrace and promote our company culture, values, and leadership principles.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business to guide and influence leaders on their talent agenda.
  • Apply expertise in performance management, career planning, coaching, people data analysis, compensation, employee relations, learning and development, and recognition programs.
  • Utilize data and metrics to proactively identify and present solutions based on business needs.
  • Partner with other People Team centers of excellence to implement solutions that support and scale the business.
  • Lead key people processes, including compensation reviews, performance evaluations, engagement survey action planning, talent reviews, and promotion evaluations.
  • Maintain data integrity and manage employee transactions.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • 10+ years of HR experience with a focus on impact within a major business unit, preferably in a high-growth technology company.
  • 5-7 years of experience as an HRBP, ideally supporting Engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with Senior Leadership.
  • Solid judgment and experience in assessing risk.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and adaptability.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to implement solutions across multiple disciplines.
  • Experience influencing decision-making.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to drive solutions autonomously.
  • Passion for making an impact and tackling challenges.
  • Comfort in partnering with both employees and leadership, balancing tactical and strategic priorities.
  • Ability to travel to relevant offices and leadership offsites.
  • Global experience is a plus.

Base Salary Range:
$98,000 - $193,000 USD (for U.S.-based candidates)
