As a Sales Engineer at TravelPerk, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by enabling custom integrations for our clients. You will partner with internal teams to win, retain, and expand customer accounts. Your expertise in TravelPerk's product and API ecosystem will be crucial in technical discussions, scoping integration opportunities, and supporting proof-of-concept builds. You will also serve as a bridge between go-to-market and product organizations, streamlining communication and influencing the product roadmap.
Responsibilities:
* Master TravelPerk's product, API ecosystem, and developer hub.
* Lead technical discussions to secure high-revenue opportunities.
* Collaborate with Enterprise Account Management to identify integration opportunities.
* Drive adoption of custom integrations, supporting clients with proof of concepts.
* Deliver presentations and navigate developer documentation for diverse stakeholders.
* Train the go-to-market team on integrations.
* Support RFPs and product demonstrations during client rebid processes.
* Communicate client technical issues and feature requests to the Product Organization.
* Report on integration adoption and related business metrics.
* Develop case studies and resources to support the go-to-market team.
Requirements:
* Experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, or a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of SaaS, web-based, and enterprise application architectures.
* Experience selling SaaS products, ideally related to ERP, expense management, or HR software.
* Knowledge of web service technologies (REST / JSON) and API integrations.
* Experience with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
* Extensive experience with Postman. Experience with reporting tools like Looker is a plus.
* Strong relationship management and communication skills.
* Ability to translate complex needs into actionable plans and solutions.
* Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
