Senior Solutions Consultant

Join Appian's dynamic Solutions Consulting team and redefine the future of business process automation! As a Solution Consultant, you'll be at the forefront of our mission, collaborating with customers to understand their needs and demonstrate the value of Appian's innovative platform. You'll craft compelling stories, co-create solutions, and shape strategies with technical credibility and business insight.

Responsibilities:
* Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
* Strategically problem-solve and think outside the box.
* Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams.
* Deliver strong verbal and written communication, customer interaction, requirements analysis, and presentations.

Requirements:
* Recent experience in a modern programming language (Java, C#, Python, etc.).
* Experience in an enterprise software sales position (BPM, Low Code Platforms, or Application Development Platforms preferred).
* Familiarity with production environments (application servers, web servers, databases).
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
* 5+ years as a Pre-Sales Engineer OR 6+ years in a client-facing Professional Services/Consulting role with sales scenarios.
* Willingness to travel 10% to customer locations.
