We are searching for a S enior Software Engineer, Applications to join our software team in Hamburg, Germany , where we develop the technology that powers the next generation of music production tools.
In this role, you will help with the development of cross-platform software applications that integrate tightly with our audio interfaces, digital mixers, and DAW controllers. This includes working on apps for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.
Essential Functions:
Work with the Software Team Lead and other members of the development team to design and develop our cross-platform application software
Work across desktop/mobile platforms to deliver seamless user experiences
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in C++ and participate in code reviews
Collaborate closely and continuously with QA, Product Owners and Product Designers
Work with team members to refine requirements for software development
Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar education
Proven experience in software development (C++), preferably in audio or cross-platform applications
Strong object-oriented C++ programming skills required
Familiarity with software development for mobile devices is a plus
Proficiency with software development tools (Visual Studio, Xcode, Git, cmake, Jira / Confluence)
Fluent German and English language skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills
Ability to work alone and as part of a team
Excellent time, task and resource organization skills
Background in music production and audio technology, as well as knowledge of music production software and software instruments is a benefit
