SeatGeek is seeking Software Engineers of all experience levels to join our R&D team and help revolutionize the ticketing industry. As a Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in building and scaling our platform, solving complex challenges, and delivering innovative solutions to enhance the live event experience for fans, performers, and venues. You'll work within a modern, containerized, service-oriented architecture, employing industry-leading software development practices to ship code to production frequently.
Responsibilities include solving complex performance issues, developing a multifaceted marketplace, empowering a data-driven business, and scaling our software to accommodate rapid growth. You will also build high-performance, user-friendly interfaces and assess new technologies to maintain our technological edge. Leveraging cutting-edge AI tools to accelerate development while upholding SeatGeek's technical standards is also a key aspect of this role. Collaboration across teams and disciplines is essential to developing the best product in the industry.
We are looking for candidates with experience building business-critical software in a fast-paced environment and a track record of solving complex technical challenges. A passion for software craftsmanship and a product-oriented mindset are essential, as is a commitment to teamwork, mentorship, and continuous learning.
Our tech stack includes Python + FastAPI, Go, C# + .NET Core, Postgres, MemcachedRedis, Elasticsearch, AWS, k8s, argo, Gitlab, Cursor, Github Copliot, Claude Code, Datadog, React+Typescript, Swift, and Kotlin.

The salary range for this role is $145,000-$200,000 USD. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate.
