As a Customer Success Manager, you will be a trusted advisor to our valued customers, collaborating with Sales to build trust and expand accounts while preventing churn. Your excellent customer-facing and consultative skills will be essential as you understand customer pain points, define success criteria, and lead them to production. You will fully onboard customers, lead them to utilize CockroachDB's potential, allocate resources, and proactively alleviate roadblocks. Excellent program management skills are a must, along with an expert understanding of our products, database technology, and the competitive landscape.
You will collaborate with the account team, serve as the primary technical point of contact, understand customer use cases, advocate for customer requirements, drive adoption of CockroachDB, conduct account reviews, provide expert advice, troubleshoot technical escalations, deliver workshops, provide feedback on product features, partner with internal teams to identify upsell opportunities, act as a project lead, and track account health metrics.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience as a CSM, TAM, Solutions Architect, or similar.
- Understanding of distributed systems, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with customer onboarding and migrations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams.
