Renewable Energy Project Finance Investment Analytics Solar Energy Financial Modeling

Based in Santa Monica or San Francisco, you'll manage project valuation, support development strategy, and analyze market trends in the renewable energy sector. Responsibilities:

  • Manage solar and storage asset valuation and project finance modeling.
  • Support development strategy and market entry.
  • Conduct quarterly portfolio valuation and solar development pipeline analysis.
  • Develop investment recommendation memos.
  • Perform market research and competitive analysis.
  • Provide transaction support for project financings and asset acquisitions & sales.
  • Oversee underwriting assumptions.
  • Supervise junior team members and improve processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering, development, and fleet teams.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in finance, economics, engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 4-6 years of experience in renewable energy finance or project valuation.
  • Deep knowledge of energy markets and renewable energy technologies.
  • Understanding of discounted cash flow valuation and debt/tax equity financing.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative and accountability.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Organized, diligent, and able to manage multiple information streams.
  • Alignment with Cypress Creek Renewables' mission and values.
  • Located or able to relocate to Santa Monica or San Francisco.

Compensation: The salary range for the position is $115,000-$140,000 plus bonus and benefits. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
